Board of Directors

We would like to take this time to introduce AAMHA’s newest members of the Board of Directors.  As a non-profit organization, AAMHA has a working board of directors whose role is to provide accountability to the broader community, as well as ensure the financial stability of this organization along with the mission and purpose. AAMHA’s Board of Directors consists of a majority resident representation. This resident representation comes from AAMHA communities, as well as surrounding neighborhoods. Other board members are volunteer community and governmental/business representatives.  All board members serve voluntarily, often in addition to their full-time jobs. AAMHA greatly appreciates the commitment and passion of its board members and welcomes Lisa Lee, Patricia Sheppard and LaToya Williams.

Alamo Area Mutual Housing Association develops and manages multi-family housing complexes with the goal of providing stable and affordable rents to individuals and families.

As a non-profit organization any revenue earned from the operation of the housing units is channeled back into the communities, and into the services and programs offered to its residents. Alamo Area Mutual Housing Association (AAMHA) has been locally, regionally and nationally recognized for the programs and services offered to both adult and children residents. These programs have been designed to ensure that no one is defined or limited by their financial situation, ethnicity, religious beliefs, physical abilities, age or other circumstances.
