Extreme Playground Makeover

Castleridge Apartments: Castleridge was honored to be one of the 10 sites that Washington Mutual has selected to build and install new playground equipment at. In conjunction with KaBOOM! Alamo Area MHA had a Design Day on March 13th, 2008, the afternoon started off with a tour of Castleridge and the playground area, we then incorported feedback on playground wishes from the residents and the youth. The event was a great success with a large resident turn out. Alamo Area MHA will continue to provide details and displaying the progress of the playground area as we go along, please stay tuned for additional pictures and information. Alamo Area Mutual Housing Association develops and manages multi-family housing complexes with the goal of providing stable and affordable rents to individuals and families.

As a non-profit organization any revenue earned from the operation of the housing units is channeled back into the communities, and into the services and programs offered to its residents. Alamo Area Mutual Housing Association (AAMHA) has been locally, regionally and nationally recognized for the programs and services offered to both adult and children residents. These programs have been designed to ensure that no one is defined or limited by their financial situation, ethnicity, religious beliefs, physical abilities, age or other circumstances.
